Senior Manufacturing Engineer

• Experience with 3D CAD tools, to interrogate the Spacecraft model and determine the key requirements to support all aspects of Assembly, Integration, Test & Launch preparation.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and software integration, and maintaining the "Digital Data Continuity".
• Experience in defining schedule inputs, critical assembly sequences, defining task durations, risk management inputs, Lessons Learned management to achieve Lean Engineering solutions.
• Experience in work package management, financial control of Engineering work packages.
• Full end to end lifecycle management of the DfX, Manufacture and Test of highly regulated assemblies.
• A level of travel will be required to meet business needs (Passport and Driving License).
• The successful candidate must already hold or be able capable of obtaining UK SC - UK Security Clearance., In the role of Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will help to select and implement our new Manufacturing Execution System (MES) from end to end for Lockheed Martin UK Space. Taking the best practice from our all of our Business Units across the US and UK. Therefore experience of an MES system new implementation or being a system super user in a highly regulated environment is essential. As well as experience in the practical application of that system to manage eBOM to mBOM transfers, 3D model configuration control, manufacturing assembly instruction creation and execution is needed. Experience of multidisciplined systems, covering mechanical, electrical and test software is an advantage.
