Full Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Planning Consultant to join our client's award winning team in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will provide high-quality planning consultancy services to a diverse range of clients.,

  • Managing Mineral, Waste, and Renewable planning projects
  • Representing clients in Local Development Plan discussions
  • Handling Planning Appeals and Enforcement matters
  • Producing and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on technical reports
  • Representing the company at planning committees and public consultation events
  • Engaging in business development and strategic planning Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients

  • Degree-level education or a relevant qualification in planning/surveying
  • Full membership of the RTPI/RICS (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in industry, consultancy, or the public sector
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for delivering planning advice
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects, adhering to deadlines, and delivering high-quality results
