Full Job Description

  • Lead the design, development and delivery of specific product initiatives in UK, Ireland and Luxembourg including new funds and strategies, product amendments and enhancements and corporate actions
  • Work with investments and distribution leads to oversee the existing fund range as well as develop new tactical and strategic solutions.
  • Ensure the approval of product initiatives through the JHI product governance process, including fund board and management company approvals
  • Ensuring key stakeholders are kept fully informed on project delivery, progress and issues arising
  • Lead relationships with other internal departments on any in-scope product related issues
  • Committee and board representation as appropriate
  • Field queries and issues relating to the product proposition, its design and operating model

  • Knowledge and experience of European cross-border funds (UK, Luxembourg and Ireland) and detailed understanding of the UCITS regulatory regime
  • Proven track record of delivering European product development
  • Ability to work closely with, and influence, portfolio managers, other front office personnel and executives
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to liaise with senior management, peers and other team members
  • Commercial awareness
  • Understanding of the drivers and processes integral to successful product development and management
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
