Full Job Description

  • Managing the set-up and delivery of projects, working with colleagues and subject matter experts on the strategic planning, scoping, design and the delivery.
  • Plan, develop and evaluate methods and processes for gathering, analysing, interpreting and presenting data and information.
  • Works within organisation and national guidance, interpreting national guidance relevant to the project and acting a subject matter specialist within the specific project area.
  • Develop standardised operation processes and procedures for projects, and work with senior team members to develop project management policies that apply across NHS England.
  • Deliver significant projects for NHS England that supports system transformation and delivers transformation across the new operating model.
  • Manage the whole lifecycle of a project, reporting on progress and managing risks and issues, escalating where necessary to the project board.
  • Support organisational change and the uptake of initiatives that support excellence.
  • Ensure benefits are identified, understood, measured, tracked and owned.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and support new programmes and projects where necessary.
  • Interrogate and analyse, sometimes highly complex, information to support the delivery of clear project reporting and project outcomes., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
