Our Centre of Excellence in Witney specializes in producing electrodes and biosensors for diabetes management, meeting the stringent quality standards set by European and US authorities. We are currently seeking a Controls Engineer to join our Operations Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled Engineering team working with state-of-the-art automation in a rapidly growing area of our business This role involves working across all aspects of our manufacturing area, providing innovative solutions to problems, and staying updated with the latest control systems technology. Our team members work in various areas, including projects, process, production, systems, software, R&D, and machine vision. Profile for Success

  • Have experience with complex automation projects and a proven ability to develop solutions for automation needs.
  • Proficiency in fault finding and modifying PLC programs for automated machinery is essential, with specific experience in Siemens S7/TIA Portal and Allen Bradley Studio 5000.
  • Knowledge of structured programming languages, Oracle databases, and basic cybersecurity is advantageous. Familiarity with other programming languages like C++ or Python is a plus.
  • You should demonstrate a track record of achieving objectives, working proactively, and managing your time effectively.
  • Given our highly regulated industry, the ability to follow procedures and create accurate documentation is crucial.
  • Education/Experience
  • We welcome applications from experienced degree-qualified Controls Engineers or those with proven industry experience supported by a recognized engineering apprenticeship.
