Full Job Description

  • Conduct scheduled physical inspections by company Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) procedures
  • Carry out operational Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checks and report findings with the shift supervisor and maintenance supervisor
  • Communicate clear instructions and information to MBT operatives to support operations and high emphasis will be placed on the plant availability and the performance of the biological process
  • Record all defects and findings accordingly and assist with KPI data entry
  • The Senior Technician is required to have an excellent understanding of the SCADA system and will be expected to independently fault-find and rectify issues via this and the plant's equipment
  • Provide line management with specialist knowledge and hands-on expertise in rectifying and preventing problems such as equipment failure, material blockages and biological process inefficiencies
  • Prepare both facilities for daily operation and carry out necessary pre-start equipment checks in conjunction with the shift supervisor, We know how important it is to be fully committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive place to work for every one of our colleagues.     Willingness to learn waste separation equipment is essential
  • Higher education or equivalent is desirable
  • A strong communicator, with leadership skills/experience
  • Technically minded with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience of leading people is preferred
