Sister / Charge Nurse

You will joining the emergency departments covering two sites, that currently see on average 500 patients a day (cross site). This is an extremely busy, but exciting time to join the trust as we are currently working towards the new configuration. Both departments consist of Triage/Rapid Assessment, Resuscitation Room, Majors and Minor Injuries/Illness.

We are currently looking for keen and motivated Nurse to recruit into a Band 6 post. You must be an RN with a minimum 2 years post registration experience within an emergency department. You will also hold a qualification in Mentoring/ Slip.You will be required to have effective leadership skills, good communication skills, good interpersonal skills and evidence of professional development is a must. The successful candidate will be required to shift lead and maintain the flow of the department in a safe and efficient manner. You will be expected to work across site., High standards of patient care are our priority; therefore, you will be required to work within our 4 pillars of care as outlined by the Trust.
