Full Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Sister to join the Neonatal Unit at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. To provide the highest standard of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised holistic care in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team on the Neonatal Unit. To develop your expertise, leadership, and managerial skills within the neonatal unit. Opportunity to develop specialist interests within the scope of neonatal care., Please see attached to the advert a job description and person specification for further details. Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge of neonatal policies, procedures and working practices. Provide care to infants requiring admission to the neonatal unit. Demonstrate professional post-registration development and leadership in order to effectively manage a ward team. Work collaboratively with other neonatal units and the Yorkshire and Humber Neonatal Operational Delivery Network (ODN).,

  • RN Child or RN adult with NMC registration
  • Qualified in Speciality (QIS) Course
  • Minimum of 6 months experience post QIS
  • Up to date NLS qualification
  • Completion of Mentor / PEAP qualification
  • Desirable Awareness of audit and research Knowledge and Experience Essential
  • Evidence of experience working within the neonatal setting.
  • Demonstrate professional post-registration development in order to effectively manage a ward team.
  • Experience of operational management and leadership.
  • Evidence of up to date clinical expertise.
