As Retail Channel Manager you will be the external face of the Amazon Devices organization, owning and setting the strategy for how we shape our Devices business in the French Retail channel. You will have autonomy to own and build retail partnerships, with sales responsibility for our key product categories: Echo, FireTV and Kindle. In this role, you are responsible for managing our strategic partners. You build relationships with key external retailer, setting the sales and marketing strategy to drive growth across our Devices and the wider Smart Home category. You define and implement plans to best serve new and existing customers, as well as exceeding financial objectives, that prioritize long term over the short. A successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop deep and integrated partnerships to unlock and maximize Amazon Device growth. A successful candidate will be conscientious thinker, with the energy to move at pace. They will be an expert in consumer electronic retail dynamics, trends and challenges.   • Develop and implement Amazon Devices retail strategy in France. This includes not just fostering greater collaboration with our existing strategic retailer partners but also identifying new retail sales opportunities. You execute this strategy in cooperation with our channel marketing team across multiple mediums (both in-store and online merchandising).
  • Negotiate commercial Terms and Conditions with new and existing customers, seeking win-win solutions for both Amazon and retail partners.
  • Develop & execute annual joint business plans, including marketing and in-store/digital execution strategies.
  • Prepare & organize regular business reviews, working on long-term initiatives to bring closer collaboration between Amazon and our partners.
  • Coordinate new product launches - this includes influencing launch timelines based upon channel restrictions, as well as ensuring go-to-market activities are executed flawlessly across all retail partners.
  • Ability to present and sell Amazon devices externally to the most senior audiences with an excellent understanding of product features and retail partner needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the retail channels by testing new marketing initiatives.

    Amazon Snr Strategic Partnership Mngr - French Speaking (FTC), Amazon Devices in London, United Kingdom, Fluent in English & French is a must-have.
  • Several years of professional experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience in a relevant field.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes and solutions or equivalent experience
  • Experience identifying trends and needs to improve an already closed large-scale technology deal
  • Experience in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business
