Social Work Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to support and develop the role of social work within Navigo. To offer support to existing social workers and to support the development of Social Work apprentices and students., As a Social Work Lead, you will:

Manage and take a lead role in the professional development of Social Workers through supervision, mentoring, CPD activities and offering advice.

You will be expected to promote a culture of professional curiosity, encouraging accountability and role modelling this in your own best practice.

Embed the North East Lincolnshire Practice framework within practice

You must be able to demonstrate your practice, experience and knowledge of legislation and be focused on delivering positive outcomes for the local population.

You will lead on ensuring Navigo is compliant in the delegated responsibilities under Section 75 partnership agreements, legally provided by the NHS Act 2006, this includes the application of the Care Act (2014) and responsibilities associated with S117 aftercare.

You will line manage the specialist Social Work posts attached to CMHT.

Ensure the PCF framework is embedded within social work practice across the organisations

The social work lead should demonstrate passion, professional autonomy and an ability to work across organisations in ensuring the best outcomes for individuals who use our service.
