Social Work Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to develop the role of social work within Navigo and work as part of a wider system to support and implement exciting changes for individuals who live within North East Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will be expected to work on developing and maintaining effective relationships across social work and the MDT within Navigo and the wider partners of North East Lincolnshire. The Social Work Lead will have a key voice in raising the social work profile and providing professional leadership within mental health services and beyond, advocating for some of the most vulnerable in society to ensure their voices are heard in local and national service planning and delivery., The successful candidate will work with equivalent social work leads across N.E Lincolnshire to drive Social Work development for staff and individuals who use local services.

Working with the Principle Social Worker to embed the local practice framework, key social work priorities and social work practice across the local system.

Manage and take a lead role in the professional development of Social Workers through supervision, mentoring and CPD activities. The Social Work Lead will be expected to promote a culture of professional curiosity, encouraging accountability and role modelling within your own practice. You must be able to demonstrate your practice, experience and knowledge of legislation and be focused on delivering positive outcomes for the local population. There is an expectation to support Navigo's compliance in the delegated responsibilities under Section 75 agreement, provided by the NHS Act 2006 including Care Act (2014) responsibilities and s.117 aftercare.
