Position: Qualified Social Worker (Adults Learning Disabilities)
Exciting opportunity awaits!, 1. Varied caseload:
- We work with individuals with learning disabilities living in a variety of settings, including at times of change. You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills base in multiple areas.
2. Assessing, protecting, and representing in court:
- You'll be responsible for assessing needs under the Care Act, ensuring safety through safeguarding, and evaluating the capacity of individuals. Your role includes court work, where you'll represent and advocate for people, making sure their needs and rights are represented.
3. Teamwork for independence and life opportunities:
- Working closely with the person, their families, MDT, and a supportive management team, you'll collaborate with others to come up with strategies to help people be more independent and open up opportunities in their lives. This involves planning, coordinating resources, and working together to create positive outcomes.

What you'll need:
- Recognised social work qualification.
- Registration with Social Work England.

- Knowledge of key legislation, local and national policy issues, equal opportunities and anti-oppressive practice.
