Working with the Learning Disability and Autism Service means a varied day. You may support a young person to move into their first home from hospital or set up a reablement plan to help someone connect with their local community. There are plenty of opportunities to support co-production work with our Independent advocacy organisation based in Suffolk (aceanglia.com).

a relevant social work qualification
- a current Social Work England registration (or awaiting your registration if Newly Qualified)
- a valid driving license and access to personal transport.

You'll bring:
- an experience of social work, modelling good practice and providing advice and guidance in complex situations
- a comprehensive understanding of current legislation, regulations, and guidance
- experience of chairing meetings involving clients, family members, carers, and other multi-agency professionals
- the ability to develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community to provide a supportive framework for vulnerable adults., Disability Confident

Newly Qualified Adult Social Workers: £36,124 per annum, plus a £500 additional payment on completion of ASYE (pro rata for part time hours)
- Adult Social Workers: £37,035 - £39,513 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)
- Retention payments for 2, 3 and 5 years service of £1,000, £1,500 and £2,000
- 37 hours per week
