Full Job Description

We are looking for an experience Junior Sous Chef to join our agile team as we develop our food and beverage offer across our varied audiences and commercial events. Working within a supportive team, you will be expected to bring passion and dedication to your role, working closely with the Head Chef.

  • Experience working within the hospitality industry, including producing food provision for large scale events.
  • Skills and knowledge of:
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a multi outlet operation.
  • Passionate about food and hospitality- a natural flare for amazing food quality
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capability to deliver key business metrics including, food safety management
  • It also helps if you have:
  • Hands on experience of designing meus
  • High degree of flexibility, can respond to a range of different work situations
  • Proven ability to develop best in class sourcing of ingredients
  • Passionate about music, culture and the Northeast
  • You'll be responsible for:
  • A passion for food
  • Capable of developing innovative ideas to improve the effectiveness of your section
  • Able to work independently asking for guidance when needed
  • Ability to assist with menu design and innovation, responding to our audiences and events
  • A sound understanding of health and safety and food safety regulations
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Work closely with Food & Beverage Team Managers to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Responsible for promoting plant-based dishes & sustainable products
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, Head of Audience Experience and FOH team ensuring exceptional food
  • and service standards across all Food & Beverage operations.
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team, working towards a common goal
  • Producing dishes, both hot and cold, to a high standard
  • Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean & tidy in line with cleanliness standards
  • Ensuring orders are maintained at an appropriate level
  • Cleanliness records are kept up to date
