Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of a team.

In this role, you will be part of the wider Safeguarding and Vulnerabilities Team, supporting the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Adults in the delivery and monitoring of adult safeguarding procedures across the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. You will also provide specialist advice and expert knowledge to staff, peers, other professionals, and multi-agency partners on all aspects of adult safeguarding.

This is a cross-site position, and you will spend equal time at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, and Scunthorpe General Hospital, while also supporting community teams., To assist the Named Nurse in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating innovative practices for managing the Safeguarding agenda.

Maintain and improve professional standards of care

Assist with ongoing monitoring, evaluation and review of operational arrangements for Safeguarding.

Assistin gatheringcomplex data to provide information to the Trust Board and relevant Committees.

Supportto ensure a patient and family-focused approach to Safeguarding is delivered.

Assist in developing and delivering aSafeguarding training programme in accordance with national guidance.

Contribute to the operational planning of the Trust Safeguarding arrangements.

Supportto ensure the Trust can provide rigorous evidence demonstrating compliance with CQC standards.

Assistwith investigating and responding to patient safety incidents, and learning is cascaded.

Actively collaborate with relevant managers and the risk team on investigations and responses to any relevant complaints or inquiries.

Actively participate in audits by gathering, analysing and evaluating evidence.

Ensure that all policies and procedures are regularly updated in line with national and local regulations.
