Full Job Description
As a Business Analyst for Sportsbook, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets related to sports betting activities, customer behavior, and market performance. You will provide actionable insights to optimize sportsbook offerings, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key responsibilities include building reports, monitoring key performance metrics, and collaborating with product and marketing teams to ensure the sportsbook platform is aligned with business goals. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a thorough understanding of sportsbook, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will be part of the Data and Analytics department, working closely with the Sportsbook Team to ensure alignment with our business objectives. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Perform detailed analyses on Sportsbook, provide actionable insights, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sportsbook offerings and drive data-driven decision-making, requiring proficiency in data analysis tools and a strong understanding of sports betting markets.
- Document your work via Jira (using the provided framework)
- Contribute to additional knowledge and improvements through documentation in Confluence and Atlan.
- Propose new analytical methods to understand how our KPIs interact and impact business growth.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies & automation improvements.
- Collaborate with other business analysts and the data and analytics team to improve data communication and understanding across the company.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Responsible for adhoc analysis/projects that are complex in nature and present to management, on occasions, with recommendations.
A proactive problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for sports and sports betting - Strong academic background is preferred - MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Marketing or other relevant fields.
- Proficiency in collecting data from various sources, conducting thorough analysis, and deriving actionable insights.
- Understanding of how data models work and integrate.
- Ability to convey complex analytical findings in an understandable manner.
- A structured and service-oriented mindset.
- Eagerness to continuously improve and grow within your career.
- Fluent in English. NICE TO HAVES
- Whilst not a prerequisite, candidates with experience in iGaming, Data Modelling, R, Python, SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau will be given preference, Would you be a good fit for the Leo Pride - give us a roar!
