Full Job Description

We have an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our team in delivering neurological rehabilitation. The successful applicant will be an autonomous practitioner and work alongside the team whilst taking responsibility for coordinating and managing the shift. They will provide clear direction to the Rehabilitation Assistant staff and maintain a flexible patient focused approach in managing complex situations. Neurological Rehabilitation is both rewarding and challenging and the post holder will be supported to use clinical assessment skills to develop patient centred care plans. They will be supported to further develop by having access to:

  • regular clinical and managerial supervision;
  • specialist rehabilitation nursing staff knowledge;
  • facilitated reflective practice sessions;
  • in house and external training;
  • post-graduate neurological rehabilitation training.

    The successful applicant should be a Registered Nurse. They should have recent evidence of competence in caring for people with physical disabilities and physical health needs and experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team. Experience working within neurology or rehabilitation would be desirable.
