Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to come and join our Cardiac team.

The Cardiac Centre comprises of a CCU (Cardiac Care Unit) , Cardiac Ward and Catheterisation Lab, (where diagnostic angiograms are performed and pacemakers inserted) and a Recovery area.

The ward has 22 beds with 7 of these having bedside monitors. The Cardiac ward is also responsible for providing and monitoring patients on Telemetry across the Trust.

The Band 5 posts will provide an opportunity for the successful candidates to rotate through the various areas enabling them to develop a range of skills and experiences.

Although previous cardiology or scrub nurse experience would be an advantage, we welcome applicants from those with an interest in cardiology who are willing to develop and take on new skills., We are looking for a passionate staff nurse to join our team.

The cardiac ward looks after patients with a variety of different cardiac conditions.

The role will include taking responsibility for the safe and effective delivery of care for a number of patients supported by the ward senior team.
