Stores Person / Catering Assistant - Holmleigh Park High School

To work as part of the school's catering team. To help with the smooth running of the kitchen including receiving deliveries, escorting delivery drivers while on the school site and acting as banksman for them in the car park, putting away deliveries, the cleaning of kitchen equipment and catering areas, preparation and service of meals under instruction from the catering manager.

Main duties
- Assist with receiving, unloading and putting away deliveries.
- Washing pots and pans
- Keeping floors clean
- Sanitising food preparation areas and ensuring food is stocked up in all areas
- Checking and replenishing stock
- General duties in the kitchen and dining hall
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of school meals
- Assist with the service and presentation of food and beverages
- Assist with the cleaning of kitchen equipment and catering areas
- Attend training courses and meetings as required
- Ensure hygiene and health and safety standards are met at all times
- To play a full part in the life of the school community, supporting its distinctive mission and ethos, and encouraging and ensuring staff, pupils and students adhere to school expectations
- Such other duties as may be reasonably allocated by your line manager or Headteacher.
