AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. Do you have experience driving sales operations? Are you passionate about analyzing large sets of data and providing insights and improvement recommendations? As EMEA Demand Generation Operations and Strategy Lead, you will support Demand Generation managers as well as Sales Strategy & Ops leaders on running sales processes aligned to day-to-day execution of the business as well as driving implementation of new tools and processes to continuously drive productivity improvement in our sales teams. You will be the central SME for operational requests raised by EMEA's Demand Generation teams, owning resolution or collaborating with internal end-users and cross-functional international teams to solve problems and deliver successfully against high standards. You should be passionate about working with data and developing and owning process improvements to standardize, automate and optimize central processes in a scalable approach. You will be collaborating with Sales Operations teams and Demand Generation leadership to define, land and execute against our strategic priorities for the AWS CS EMEA business. Your analytic skills, strong business judgement and focus on our core operational inputs will make you a critical partner to the Demand Generation Team and Sales Strategy & Ops leaders as you help them execute, identify gaps and remove barriers to execution. Based on discussion with the Hiring Manager, this position can be located in the London, Madrid, or Munich offices. Key job responsibilities Support in the development of strategies and implementation processes to help customers on their cloud adoption journey. Partner closely with EMEA Demand Generation leadership and EMEA Sales Operations teams to set ambitious yet achievable goals for the sales organization, then put a framework in place to report, analyze and measure progress against them. Analyze industry and Amazon internal data to understand the competitive landscape across services and identify customer trends Support strategic initiatives from the analytical standpoint Develop, Maintain and Execute key executive reporting consumed by the EMEA Demand Generation leadership Develop processes and scalable mechanisms to benefit both AWS EMEA Demand Generation Team and potentially the wider organization Ensure that the quality and timeliness of analytic deliverables meet and exceed the Sales Operations team expectations

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience in finance, business management and sales operations
  • Experience developing business analytics or equivalent
