Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join Wyre Forest District Council Highways Street Cleansing Team. Covering the Wyre Forest District you will be tasked with keeping the district clean safe and looking good. As part of the team you will be expected maintain a high standard whilst ensuring that safe working practices are applied at all time. Special Conditions

  • This is a full time post, 37 hours per week to be worked as part of a rota (any 4 & 5 day working patterns apply from any 7 days) Special working arrangements for Bank holidays and Christmas Working applies.
  • A flexible approach required as you may be required to work outside your normal hours from time to time as the demands of the post and emergencies dictate in addition to the out of hours rota.
  • The post holder must possess a full driving licence.
  • This job includes duties that may require a substantial amount of physical effort and mobility on a frequent basis.
  • To meet the needs of the service, the ability to undertake the full range of duties for the contracted hours will be required
