Full Job Description

As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking to appoint two individuals who want to undertake a Structural Engineering Summer Placement with us in the summer of 2025, to be based at our Bury St Edmunds office. Joining a supportive network as part of a national team, you can expect to receive valuable training, guidance and genuine scope for career development. You can expect to become involved in:

  • Parliamentary Estate, Cairngorm Funicular and the UK's first subsea cable factory
  • Projects within the commercial, education, and defence sectors amongst others.
  • Your core duties will include:
  • Sharing knowledge
  • Providing technical support
  • Sharing ideas
  • Taking ownership of your project work
  • Collaborating with others

In order to be considered for this role, you must be:
  • Working towards a degree in a relevant Civil/Structural engineering subject
  • Enthusiastic, with a passion for engineering and a proactive work ethic
  • Digital skills literate, with a desire to use digital technology to push the boundaries of design and construction.
  • Understanding of technical standards, design codes and analysis/design software..
