What you'll be doing You will be responsible for styling campaigns, social content, interior room sets, cutouts, models, jewellery, videos, and home inspiration, working across a wide range of General Merchandise, Jewellery, and Fashion products. Your innovative and relevant solutions to briefs will showcase your creativity and push boundaries, ensuring that our content exceeds stakeholder expectations and enhances the customer journey. Drawing upon your experience in the interior design industry, you will have a keen eye for textures, colours, and effective use of props. Your understanding of the retail landscape, commerce trends, and brands will enable you to meet our high standards of styling. Who you are As an Interior Stylist for Zest, our in-house content creation agency, you are an experienced professional with a strong creative flair within the interior design industry. With proven experience in a commercial environment, you have a keen eye for styling interiors, still life photography, and video, with a deep understanding of textures, colours, and prop sourcing. Your portfolio showcases your ability to deliver innovative and creative solutions to briefs, while constantly pushing boundaries and exceeding stakeholder expectations. Your understanding of the retail landscape, commerce trends, and competitor brands enables you to elevate the customer experience and contribute to the overall success of Sainsbury's. Division/Dept. Zest - in-house creative agency (production studios) / Marketing & Loyalty Location Milton Keynes Reporting to Ecommerce Art Director In a nutshell The Zest studios Stylist is accountable for the delivery of first-class creative output, with a focus on producing E-commerce content which will occasionally be supplemented with PR & Campaign level content when required. They will play a role in ensuring creative excellence in all content output to the very highest standard, flexing across a diverse array of creative mediums and brand content production for Sainsbury's, Argos, Habitat, Tu and Nectar. With strong industry creative and production knowledge, the role will demonstrate a specialist in lifestyle, interiors and food Styling. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create visually compelling imagery, across multiple platforms, with evidence of both studio and location styling. This role requires a keen eye for detail, an advanced understanding of styling composition, prop and the organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently. What you need to do

  • Deliver innovative, creative, and relevant solutions to briefs.
  • Champion innovation, pushing creative boundaries, and seeking new imaginative ideas to exceed stakeholder expectations and enhance the customer journey.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment as a collaborative team member.
  • Efficiently manage workload for self and assistants, meeting daily and weekly targets while maintaining high styling standards for multiple sets in studio or on location.
  • Comprehend briefs, collaborate effectively with art directors, and provide constructive creative feedback when required.
  • Confidently style on location, coordinating set build, and floor coordinators to achieve shared goals.
  • Collaborate with the styling manager and art directors to enhance the team's in-house capabilities through coaching and training of mid and junior stylists.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Ensure sets and styling props areas are well-maintained and tidy throughout the shoot day.

  • Production output will meet and exceed expectations of the business and wider agency. With strong feedback and recognition.
  • Relationships will be open, collaborative and glue-like across the agency and with our wider business partners. There will be strong and consistent outward visibility across a wide network of stakeholders., Fully suited production studios and extensive creative production teams (mix of internal and freelance personnel)
  • Fully suited set design and build workshop
  • Operational & production leadership support - In form of Head of Studio and Studio Manager - GM & Food (MK), Creative Manager of Styling & Art Direction & Art Directors.

  • Previous proven experienced in a creative and commercial studio environment or within the interior design industry.
  • Experience styling interiors and still life for photography & video.
  • Understanding of textures and colours and how to effectively use and source props.
  • A good understanding of the retail landscape, commerce trends, brands and competitors.
  • Portfolio of work to be able to showcase ability to style at a high standard.
