Full Job Description

We are seeking a passionate HR Business Partner (hybrid role) to join our HR team that supports our Faculties. You will partner with leaders at all levels within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences and will focus on helping managers solve a diverse range of people management challenges using your expertise to find innovative solutions in line with HR policy and employment legislation.What will you be doing? On a daily basis you will work with managers to resolve employee relations cases from all stages of the employee lifecycle, support the review of job vacancies and drafting job descriptions, resolve escalated queries from our HR Shared Services team and analyse and interpret HR data. You will build strong stakeholder relationships across the Division and with trade union colleagues to enable the effective resolution of people challenges.

  • Proven experience working with professional or specialist staff.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and current HR trends.
  • The ability to handle a busy workload with resilience and flexibility.
  • A talent for building strong relationships with staff at all levels
