The Opportunity

As the Supplier Development Lead you supply chain quality improvements for Hinkley Point C (HPC) & Sizewell C (SZC) projects by responding to development requests, creating Supplier Quality Delivery Charters, and using root cause while ensuring continuous improvement and process mapping., Here, we do right by each other and everyone's welcome. What you'll be doing

As a key member of our team, you will lead structured problem resolution activities with key suppliers, training and coaching them in effective methodologies. You'll facilitate Supplier Quality Improvement workshops and build strong relationships with supplier leadership to drive continuous improvement. By analysing performance data, you'll identify improvement opportunities and share best practices across the supply chain.

Your primary responsibility will be to review supplier development requests and create a Supplier Quality Delivery Charter that defines problems, outlines methods, and sets resources and milestones. You'll ensure that quality improvements are delivered within agreed timelines and budget. After implementation, you'll conduct reviews to confirm measurable improvements and recommend further enhancements, including process mapping, to streamline operations and promote long-term success.

As a Supplier Development Lead, you will embody a continuous improvement mindset, demonstrating expertise in techniques like 8D, PDCA, root cause analysis, and process mapping. You possess the ability to influence others and provide constructive challenges while building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your proactive and flexible approach allows you to implement practical solutions, valuing diverse ideas. With strong analytical skills, you effectively interpret data and lead by example through excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills, ensuring a focus on project delivery. You have leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and a proven track record in supplier development. Desirable qualifications include Lean Six Sigma accreditation and nuclear sector knowledge, enhancing your ability to inspire and engage others.
