Supply Chain Intern (6 month internship)

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for problem-solving, logistics, and supply chain innovation? Join Eurostar as a Supply Chain Intern and get hands-on experience supporting our teams in delivering seamless inventory and logistics operations across the UK, France, and Belgium. Work in an international, multicultural environment where you'll play a key role in keeping our iconic fleet on the move! This will be a 6-month internship, working in our Leyton depot with some hybrid working. The salary for this role is £25,023 per annum + our benefits package. Close date for this role will be 2nd January 2025. We're looking for someone to:

• Take part in process mapping and data driven reporting using Excel and Power BI with our Data Analyst
• Support the planners in monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring that materials are available.
• Assist the planner in preparing and presenting regular reports on key supply chain metrics, such as inventory levels, supplier performance, and logistics efficiency, to support decision-making and strategy adjustments.
• Collaborate with the planner on various ad hoc projects within the supply chain function, contributing to process improvements, system implementations, or strategic initiatives.
• Provide administrative support to the supply chain team (Creating Purchase orders and receipting, system data input)
• Manage and coordinate on various projects and evolve in an international and multicultural environment., Work alongside industry experts and develop skills in logistics, demand planning, and supplier relations.
• Contribute to strategic projects that impact the daily operations of our renowned fleet
  
  Currently pursuing or recently completed a BA or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or related field.
• Proficiency and knowledge of Excel and Power BI or other data visualisation tools
• Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and eager to learn within a collaborative team environment.
• Willing to travel between London, Paris, and Brussels to support our operations.
