Support Assistant D842

A Support Assistant is required to support a 23-year-old young lady who has Autism and ADHD with anxiety and a learning disability who struggles with new things and communicating properly.

The hours for 9 per week to be split over 2 days (possibly Tuesday & Thursday 1 week and then Thursday & Saturday next on a fortnightly basis).

Duties are: to pick up the young lady up from her home, accompany and support her where she volunteers at Filey cat rescue to help her set up her trolley and carry out her volunteering duties of cleaning the cats trays and feeding them etc. She will need help to communicate with others as well as prompting and reminding of what she should be doing such as: working out how much food to give per cat pen based on number of cats in it and the correct food to give. Then return her back home.

The young lady is very loving and funny, loves animals and they help her to stay calm and feel better. The ideal candidate must be friendly, calm and love animals, have a young mind-set with a clean UK driving licence and access to a car.

Rate of pay is £12:10 per hour plus mileage allowance (45p per mile)
