Full Job Description

  • Lead the implementation of Sustainable Multi-Asset Guidance Portfolios, collaborating with the Collectives and Asset Allocation teams.
  • Work alongside the Collectives team, attend sustainable fund meetings, and validate funds on the responsible investment recommended list.
  • Draft sustainable portfolio investment reports, portfolio reviews, and policy documents for peer review and process enhancement.
  • Drive responsible investment education and training across all business channels, focusing on the Sustainable Multi-Asset Guidance Portfolios.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for Responsible Investments to internal clients, including investment / portfolio managers, bespoke model managers, and financial planners.
  • Support sales teams and investment managers by contributing to RFPs / DDQs and attending client meetings as a responsible investments specialist.
  • Undertake responsible / sustainable investment thought leadership and contribute to insightful pieces for internal and external audiences.
  • Represent the firm in various sustainability organisations and initiatives.

    Degree or equivalent required; postgraduate qualification in relevant subjects preferred.
  • CFA Level 1 required; CFA Certificate in ESG Investing preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in ESG / sustainability as an analyst or model portfolio manager within sustainable finance.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience within an asset owner, wealth manager, or asset manager conducting third-party / collectives fund research.
  • Solid understanding of investment concepts across asset classes and approaches within third-party funds.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG, sustainable investments, climate risk, investment frameworks, and tools, with a particular understanding of responsible investment approaches as indicated within the Spectrum of Capital.
  • Proven track record of interacting well with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Understanding of wealth and discretionary management firms.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to work creatively and independently.
