Full Job Description

Publicis Groupe is looking to appoint a Talent Director to join the Global Client Growth Practice (GCGP) and sit within the Talent pillar of our team. The role will be working closely and reporting into the talent lead and will be responsible for supporting and delivering on a variety of talent projects for our leadership. There is a real focus in this role for rounded solution crafting delivered through people centric partnership with executives across the organisation.,

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with global and local leaders to design and execute HR initiatives that align with business objectives and enhance client relationships.
  • Talent Management: Lead the development and implementation of talent acquisition, succession planning, and performance management strategies, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage complex relationships with senior executives across various teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Onboarding and Integration: Oversee the onboarding process for new talent, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the organisation, and drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Performance and Development: Lead performance review processes, promote continuous learning, and develop career pathways that support personal and professional growth for team members.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in talent management.

    The role is focussed on key strategic and high influence outputs for our Global Client Leaders, their Global Client Finance Leads as well as key global teams aligned t. At times the role requires a strong HR, project led mindset with heavy attention to detail. Similarly, at other times, it requires a self-starting approach to moving the dial on topics that would enable more strategic decisions to be made and inform how we show up for Global Clients and drive impact.
  • Above all a strong curiosity for how our Groupe works and application of critical thinking is needed to be successful, as well as a change, influence led approach. Accountability and attention to detail are key when partnered with innovation. Working closely with the talent lead to find new ways of shaping and influencing the talent agenda for the individuals we work with, and their teams will also be a feature.   • Significant experience in a talent function, including a senior business partner role, ideally within a holding company or highly matrixed marketing/media services agency.
  • Expertise in talent management, including contracts, compensation, benefits, and employee relations at senior levels.
  • Background in the advertising, creative, media or similar industry with a relentless curiosity and passion for the industry.
  • Proven experience in navigating international, matrixed organizations, with a strong customer service ethic and ability to respond clearly and promptly.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, driving momentum and outcomes in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
  • A focus on aligning actions with client and leadership needs, emphasizing the importance of serving our clients effectively.
  • A high degree of integrity and ethical standards, always striving to balance doing what is right with business needs.
