Full Job Description

The ongoing development of our People Strategy has created a new role for a talent and resourcing professional to take up a senior post which will lead the resourcing function within the wider HR team. The role will have the opportunity to craft the recruitment and resourcing strands of the people strategy as well as the opportunity to develop and implement comprehensive talent initiatives that align to our organisational goals, ensuring we have the skills we need now and for the future. You will provide expert direction on attraction, recruitment, employer branding and talent acquisition to ensure that we can meet our organisational regulatory agenda and achieve our organisational strategy

This role would suit an experienced talent and/or resourcing professional, who can take a lead on strategic workforce planning, ensuring a centralised approach to talent management to maximise potential. that our talent practices support the development of a high performing and engaged workforce. The successful candidate for this role will work in partnership with colleagues across HR and the wider organisation; experience of building productive relationships with key stakeholders and influencing at senior levels is therefore essential. We are looking for someone who will be enthusiastic about leading a team in an agile environment. A flexible, creative approach, and excellent communications skills will also be essential.

£63,386 - £69,444 plus generous Civil Service defined benefit pension
