Full Job Description

We are developing a latent TB screening programme within the North of theregion in partnership with the South. We are looking for a highly motivatedperson to come and join our TB team to support the Latent TB programme.,

  • Monitor national targets for the LTBI programme.
  • Manage administrative processes to ensure the LTBI programme isdelivered in time.
  • Work closely with specialist nurses, GPs and colleagues across the Region.
  • Identify and invite patients suitable for the screening programme and to be an advocate for the service
  • Attend screening events as and when required to do so.
  • Inform patients of their results and ensure follow up appointments are made.
  • Analyse and interpret information/data and compile reports on outcomes for the Cambridge and Peterborough area including uploading data to the UKHSA LTBI programme portal and submitting data to the national database.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective use of departmental equipment and resources.
  • Provide professional management of referrals, arrangement and coordination of meetings.
  • Undertake and contribute to project work as directed liaising with other Trusts and organisations in the development of the service.
  • Deal with and deliver decisions and actions modifying and adaptingcommunication methods using persuasion and tact within delegated sphere of authority.
  • Be accountable for planning, prioritising and organising work load
  • Act as a line manager to designated staff, including recruitment, induction, training and performance management.
