Teacher - Functional Skills (English, Maths, Digital and ESOL)

We are looking for a Teacher of Functional Skills to join the Adult Education department based at Keighley College. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who will help support our students across our Adult and Community Provision. You will be joining a growing team which prides itself in having fantastic working relationships with the rest of the College, local community and industry links. You will be helping to develop our students by assisting with the teaching on the below courses;

• English Literacy - Functional Skills and GCSE
• Numeracy - Functional Skills and GCSE
• Digital Skills - Entry Level IT Skills
• ESOL - English for Speakers of Other Languages

• Plan, prepare and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, learning and assessment plans.
• Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
• Create individual SMART learning targets linked to learner study programme/course.
• Be responsible for recording student progress.
• Maintain and update knowledge of the subject and / or vocational area.
About You
