The laboratories are serviced by a specialist technician foreach of chemistry, biology and physics. Each specialist technician reports directly to their head of department.

Edexcel examinations are taken at A level. Approximately 27 girls take A level biology each year. Each group has eight timetabled lessons in year 12 and eight in year 13.
