Teaching Assistant plus Lunchtime Supervisor

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning, working closely with specific groups of children within the classroom to help them reach their full potential. This is a general Teaching Assistant position, with the initial focus on supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.,

• Supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
• Working with specific groups of children, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation, classroom management, and pupil engagement.
• Promoting a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils.
  
  A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and pupils.
• Previous experience in a similar role or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  
  A network of support as part our partnership with other catholic primary and high schools within the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust.
St Austin's is a Catholic Primary School and the successful candidate will be expected to be sympathetic towards and supportive of the Christian values of the school although it is not necessary to be a practicing Catholic.
