Full Job Description

The Team Personal Assistant for Mission will provide support to colleagues who lead on supporting and developing mission across the Diocese. The vacancy is an ideal opportunity for a self-starter with experience of working as a team PA. The post holder will apply discretion and diplomacy in their work and be competent to manage much of the work on their own. ROLE DUTIES

  • To manage the Missional Team's calendar and appointments in an accurate and efficient manner, ensuring that meetings, conference and training events are co-ordinated so that the relevant people are in the right place at the right time.
  • To attend and take minutes or notes at meetings when required
  • To attend and participate in occasional meetings of other PA's within the CDBF office.
  • Be part of the rota to cover CDBF reception to cover receptionist absence as required by the CEO & Diocesan Secretary PA.
  • To provide high-quality support to the Missional Team in preparation for key meetings and forums, including the collation of relevant documentation, creating agendas, preparing and distributing minutes, highlighting actions., This is a fixed-term role initially, until approximately November 2027 subject to funding, pre-employment checks and role start date.

  • At least 'A' level standard or equivalent level of education
  • Proven professional PA/administration support to a team
  • Experience of managing diaries and arranging meetings with multiple stakeholders.Experience of taking notes during meetings to prepare clear and accurate minutes.
  • Experience of Office 365 (or equivalent), Excel, Zoom, Teams and Electronic Diary Systems.
  • Experience of drafting emails and correspondence relating to routine and non-routine matters.

    This is a fixed-term role initially until November 2027 subject to funding
  • Working hours: 35 hours per week Salary: £26,160 - £27,633 Benefits: We offer a range of benefits including hybrid and flexible working, 11% non-contributory pension scheme, 25 days holiday rising to 29 after five years' service.
