Temporary Sales Assistant - Bristol

Sports Direct is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Temporary Sales Assistant to join our team in Bristol, United Kingdom. As a key member of our retail staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our dynamic sports retail environment.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering product advice and recommendations
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our sports equipment and apparel range to effectively answer customer queries
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
• Ensure the sales floor is well-presented, tidy, and fully stocked at all times
• Assist with receiving and organising new merchandise deliveries
• Contribute to creating an engaging and positive shopping experience for all customers
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily and weekly sales targets
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines
  
  Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and processing transactions
• Keen interest in sports and fitness, with knowledge of sports equipment and apparel (desirable)
• Previous retail or sales experience (preferred)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise as required
• Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving sales goals
