We are looking to recruit a Procurement Officer to join our directorate to work closely with the Theatres and Imaging Team and our Clinical Sourcing Team to provide a customer centric service to drive the sourcing of value for money products and services to support the delivery of high quality clinical care to our patients., A specialist Theatre and Imaging supplies inventory position is responsible for the daily management of the theatre and imaging stock control, this includes management of receipt and distribution of stock, replenishment of stocks at their point of use and reviewing the movement of goods and supply chain issues for a busy department in line with the Procurement and speciality Strategy. The Procurement team specialise in Portfolio management, Supply Chain and non-catalogue purchase.

To lead on as required cabinet and non-cabinet projects ensuring that all catalogue and non-catalogue stock is managed in line with the department's requirements.

Responsible for ensuring that end users at all levels are always fully trained in all systems, including all Trust Bank temporary staff.

To support the Service Manager, Matrons and Clinical Leads in theatres and Imaging in sustaining high standards of clinical governance and safety across all services within the speciality

To work in partnership with the procurement Portfolio and Supply Chain team in the delivery of an efficient and effective Supply Chain service

Assurance all the goods come into the categories of compliance

Maintain manual and electronic filing systems for audit requirements
