Full Job Description

  • Participates in team leadership and the management of the department, including delegation of work to junior staff and reporting to the department manager
  • To give support and advice to patients and carers in relation to renal transplantation.
  • The postholder is expected to work as part of the Multidisciplinary team in the management of delivery of care to patients within the Bradford and Airedale region.
  • The postholder will be expected to travel between sites.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated renal nurse. They will be required to support the Transplant Team in delivering care and support to patients requiring assessment for renal transplantation; their potential living donors and to patients requiring post transplant follow up in the Bradford and Airedale region.
  • Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years post registration nursing experience in an acute setting. Renal nursing experience, knowledge of the Renal NSF and National Transplant Guidelines would be advantageous. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in this field within the outpatient setting.
