Full Job Description

Hours - 16 hours per weekWork pattern - Monday - FridayShift times - 4 x 4 hour shifts per week. Various start times will be required (08:00, 09:30, 10:30, 12:00). There will be 1 rotating day off each week., York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (YTHFM) are looking for an approachable and flexible Transport Driver to join our team in York. Experience is not necessary as full training will be given, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential., The Transport Department provides a professional and reliable Transport service on behalf YTHFM for York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, servicing various NHS organisations including other hospitals and GP surgeries within York and the surrounding areas. You will primarily be responsible for handling and transporting a range of items, including, but not limited to:

  • medical equipment
  • controlled drugs (signed collection and delivery)
  • food items
  • medical gases
  • pathology samples
  • foul linen
  • furniture
  • You will be responsible for the safe delivery and security of all items whilst in transit.
