Full Job Description

  • Support the origination and on-boarding of new to bank relationships within your chosen sector, to deliver significant well managed balance sheet growth primarily through syndicated and club deals.
  • Role holders will be responsible for supporting the opportunities presented to drive new business activity from new to bank and existing customers.
  • They will act as a professional representative of the Bank within their chosen sector ensuring the highest standards of integrity and professionalism are adhered to at all times, thereby enhancing the Bank's image and growing it's professional contact / introducer base.
  • Ideally you will already have some expertise and knowledge of your chosen sector as well as exposure to large complex transactions and lending structures including club and syndicated deals.

  • Credit Risk Analysis - Understands and analyses factors impacting the risk of providing a particular product for an existing or potential customer in a timely and accurate manner
  • Financial Modelling - Develops financial or statistical models to test hypotheses and understands the potential impacts of risk under various scenarios
  • Negotiation & Influencing - engages in discussion to reach an agreement and create outcomes, affecting the action, behaviours, or opinions of others.
  • Business & Customer Knowledge & Insights - Demonstrates ability to discover, develop and apply compelling customer insights, such as knowledge of customer's product preferences, business strategy or challenges, to generate recommendations for customer-centric solutions and/or product development.

    We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Healthcare and Education Origination Team., Credit/Lending experience with good analytical skills and attention to detail, experience in deal structuring (covenants and conditions), ideally in Corporate lending and preferably in the Healthcare/Education sector.
  • Knowledge of financial statements and accounting.
  • Financial modelling skills.
  • Strong relationship building and management skills with proven ability at managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders of the bank
  • Team player with demonstrated initiative and commercial acumen
