Information collected is securely stored and used to set up the employee record on the ESR HR system., The Unit Manager for Operations will be responsible for the operational management of all aspects of the Adult Clinical Unit. This key leadership role involves working closely with senior clinical leaders and managers to drive excellence in management, leadership, support, and capacity within the unit. The post holder will ensure that effective management underpins the leadership of the unit, supporting the Clinical Service Manager and Managing Director to ensure leadership decisions are translated into impactful service delivery. In partnership with the Clinical Lead, the Unit Manager will oversee performance and governance across a portfolio of clinical services across various sites/venues,

  • Operational Leadership: Manage all aspects of the Adult Clinical Unit, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and within budget. This includes driving cost improvement schemes and delivering the business plan.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery, focusing on both efficiency and effectiveness. Use job planning, appraisals, and robust line management to encourage the workforce to work to the top of their license and develop innovative solutions to improve services.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure the effective communication of operational priorities across a broad range of complex and varied services. Use advanced interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including service users and a diverse range of Trust staff, to deliver new service models and ways of working.

  • Working for our organisation The Adult Unit encompasses a broad range of services that address complex needs. It supports individuals across the adult lifespan with a variety of presenting challenges, including our specialist education provision, family services, trauma services, and community-based programs such as our Adult and Children's Forensic teams and Family Drug and Alcohol Court teams. This service line operates in a fully multidisciplinary environment, with teams made up of professionals from Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Psychotherapy, Nursing, and Family Therapy, all working collaboratively to provide holistic care and support.,
