Full Job Description

  • Be responsible for the start-to-end deal execution:
  • Review, interpret and challenge third party due diligence reports and evaluation and presentation of credit risk
  • Effective project management of each deal: (central coordination and support of deal team, Responsibility for preparation of the credit application including credit paper and financial model, Assist with coordination of legal documentation including loan agreements and security documentation, Lead junior deal team member and review their work, Coordination of deal completion process and handover to the portfolio team)
  • Proactive networking and relationship building with internal and external partners (such as advisors and targeted private equity firms)
  • Represent the Bank at customer and advisor meetings, select client coverage and other duties associated with the role as the need arises, The Bank of Ireland Global Acquisition Finance Unit is a key business within the Corporate & Commercial division with offices in Dublin, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid, Stamford and Chicago. LAF's mandate is to originate, structure and arrange acquisition debt facilities in support of key private equity clients. The business has a substantial loan book with assets sourced across the UK, European and US leveraged loan markets.

    Seasoned banking / credit experience preferably in a Leveraged Finance context. You possess strong Excel and financial modelling skills with detailed knowledge of accounting / interpretation of accounts.
  • Credit risk evaluation and analytical skills along with written and verbal communication skills are a must! We are looking for someone with project management experience working within tight timeframes.,
