Full Job Description

The VP, product training will be responsible for creating, executing and ongoing development of training strategies that drive the success of the Choreograph OMS platform and products. They will ensure all end users (choreographers, agency teams, clients) are well-equipped to utilise our products to their full potential, leading to increased engagement and success. The role will report to the SVP, product deployment & enablement and will work in partnership with subject matter experts in the product & engineering pillars, in collaboration with other enablement functions such as Product Marketing and Support and with our region to deliver a consistent and compelling training offering., Training Strategy

  • Define and execute a comprehensive OMS platform and product training strategy across our geographies that delivers the choreograph objectives.
  • Collaborate with the wider product and deployment, and enablement teams (including product marketing and support) to ensure alignment of training content, identify new needs and to ensure a joined up customer experience.
  • Establish and drive standardised frameworks, processes and training measurements which delivers measurable adoption and effective usage of our products.
  • Partner with regional services, platform enablement, global and regional product teams to identify training needs and develop solutions aimed at improving product knowledge and customer satisfaction.
  • Training Creation and Delivery
  • Establish and deliver effective comprehensive product training program which delivers measurable adoption and effective usage of our products. Ensure that the training program is consistent across all regions achieving the overall objectives, delivering the same message, and using the same materials.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of engaging training material and programs that cater to different learning styles, and that are scalable across multiple products and user segments using a variety of delivery methods, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and virtual training sessions.
  • Collaborate with product team SMEs to ensure deep understanding of product functionality, features, and benefits; translate this knowledge into effective training and resources.
  • Work with the comms and marketing teams on, supporting materials, and communication strategies to equip users with the knowledge and skills to leverage product capabilities effectively.
  • Identify areas of training needs and develop programs to address these needs.
  • Design metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training programs and make data-informed decisions to improve them continuously.
  • Stay abreast of training and development trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously innovate and improve our training initiatives.
  • Continuously learn about new product developments and updates so that you can update the training program accordingly.
  • GroupM Alignment & Stakeholder Management
  • Work collaboratively with broader GroupM Training functions to ensure consistency and alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across choreograph both globally and regionally.
  • Measurement, KPIs & Process Improvement
  • Monitor and analyse metrics to identify areas for improvement for training processes. Proactively review and optimize processes where needed.
  • Continually conduct end-user research to identify user stories and needs, that evolve communications strategies.
  • Team Leadership
  • Build, lead and inspire an experienced team of training specialists to achieve choreograph Product and Engineering goals and objectives.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging open communication and mutual respect.
  • Provide direction and support to team members, facilitating growth both personally and professionally.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, leveraging the strengths of team members.
  • Set clear expectations and goals in line with the company's vision and strategy.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to enhance individual and collective effectiveness.
  • Steward the behaviours and ethos through communications, ways of working and building team community.
  • Participate in diversity & inclusion initiatives, ensuring they are central to the team ways of working.
  • Implement best practice in team management and people development in partnership with HR.
  • Partner with HR and VP, Team Operations in Product & Deployment to monitor core health metrics for the overall team and participate actively in the rhythm of business for both review and reporting.

  • An excellent communicator and storyteller with the capacity to distil complex concepts into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences across different geographies.
  • An expert at training strategy and driving business outcomes from training
  • A strategic planner who can balance a high level vision with tactical executions.
  • Data driven using data to make informed decisions based on market trends, customer behaviour, and other relevant metrics.
  • Well versed in media planning & buying and the products used. You also have a good understanding of client and media agency ways of working.
  • An excellent listener who can balance multiple perspectives on opportunities, challenges and requirements and translate into action.
  • A commercial thinker who keeps business and profitability goals develop the best ways of working., Proven experience in a product training leadership role in the media industry.
  • Strong understanding of training strategies and tactics, with a proven ability to drive tangible end user adoption.
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles, modern training techniques and training measurement frameworks.
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycles, agile working structures, project management.
  • Deep understanding of digital product. Desirable to have a good depth of knowledge of media planning & buying landscape, agency ways of working and clients.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategic goals into plans and actionable training objectives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional, highly matrixed, multi-geographical teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with product development.
