Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a part of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology waiting list team. We are looking for a full-time waiting list C-Section waiting list Ordinator with a cross cover for Gynaecology and Gynaecology Oncology. This is permanent contract working within a small team that is managed by our Senior Waiting List Co-Ordinator/Team Leader., The post holder will provide waiting list management for the Obstetrics C-Section waiting list. This role relies on close working relationships with patients, consultants, secretaires, receptionist, the management team, and theatre teams. Main job role responsibilities -

  • Arranging patients C-Section dates
  • Managing C-Section requests on ICE
  • Managing and actioning the Elective Procedure inbox
  • Arranging patient inductions on Cley
  • Attending and presenting issues at the C-Section escalation meeting weekly
  • Working with our Obstetrics secretaries
  • Handling patients queries via telephone and email
  • Liaise with ward and theatre staff
  • Use PAS to book patients TCI's
  • Ensuring the Elective CS Booking system is correct with planned patients coming in and correct information added.
  • Adding all Elective C-Sections on Orsos

    You will need to be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player, with excellent organizational and communication skills. You will have a good understanding of the 18-week RTT pathways, the Patient Access Policy and be trained in PAS. You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of patient confidentiality.
