Warehouse First Line Manager (12 Month FTC)

• Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a food operation)
• The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills

  Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our team on our Sainsbury's contract in Emerald Park, Bristol on a 12 month fixed term contract. As a First Line Manager you will be responsible for managing and leading your own team helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Tuesday to Saturday, 14:00 - 22:00. Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of up to £35,102.14 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). • To lead operational activities in your area for the duration of the shift to achieve the work plan on time and in line with budget and KPIs
• Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
• Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation
• Management of the warehouse training requirement and function
