Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit an experienced warehouse operator for the Plymouth operation who holds a current counterbalance forklift truck license & who has previous stores or material handling experience. As a Warehouse Operator , you'll be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading of goods in a correct & safe manner
  • Operating counterbalance forklift truck
  • Accurately picking & packing materials for customer orders
  • Ensuring that work ethics satisfy FIFO & stock accuracy
  • Ensuring high quality of work is maintained
  • Ensuring that all material are identified correctly
  • Correcting administration of paperwork
  • Updating ERP system on all material transactions
  • Disposal of waste in the correct recyclable streams
  • Daily checking on material handling equipment
  • Ensure adherence to all Company Policies & Procedures
  • Being fully conversant & compliant with all Environmental Health & Safety procedures
  • Fully complying with all Quality, Environmental Health & Safety directives including but not limited to PPE, Accident Reporting, Safety Commitments, RAMS etc.

    Previous experience in the similar role
  • Attention to details
  • Understanding of stock control methods e.g. FIFO
  • Good numerical and computer skills
