Full Job Description

  • To provide one to one student support and skills assessment at placements and settings through pre-arranged visits.
  • To continually review and update procedure and systems for placement tracking and monitoring.
  • To undertake monitoring, vetting and risk assessments as required.
  • Keeping abreast of and contributing to curriculum development and innovations affecting work placement and skills development.

    Level 3 qualification in the area of Health and Social Care/Childcare
  • 5 GCSE passes (grades A-C) including Maths and English or equivalent
  • Knowledge of work placement monitoring and vetting or prepared to undertake training in this area
  • Ability to work well under own initiative, working confidently with the team and independently
