Full Job Description

A high profile role with a diverse set of responsibilities, encompassing local leadership, as well as contributing and leading national priority work streams, as part of the RRDN workforce and people manager team. This is an opportunity to be part of an ambitious collaborative health and care region, committed to improving the diversity and inclusivity of our workforce and research participants. Time will be invested in supportive relationships with system workforce leaders, heads of service within South East RRDN and system organisations. Critical to the success of this role is having a contemporaneous understanding of emerging changes and developments within NHS and Care services, and research delivery services to ensure a workforce that is appropriate, flexible and ready to exploit future opportunities., Working at a system level, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the South East research workforce and people services, whilst informing the continuous improvement of research delivery services. This is of particular importance in relation to the Life Sciences Industry. Delivering a high quality service today, whilst preparing us for the future, requires extensive experience of the research delivery systems within the NHS, and an opportunity to increase understanding and respond to the needs of the workforce in wider healthcare settings e.g. Care homes, primary care.
