Full Job Description
During his/or her shift and dependent on the assignment focus, the Duty Manager is responsible for but not limited to:
- Establishing relationships with premium customers and facilitating the recognition of top customers
- Conducting daily flight briefings with personnel
- Being present frontline
- Steering, monitoring and troubleshooting all station related processes
- Collaborating with the Station Manager in mitigating conflicts of interest arising
- Fostering quality awareness and high service attitude in daily work
- Collaborating with the Station Manager in the general organization of the station
- Coordinating logistical support of audits
- Applying and maintaining the Safety Management System
- Maintaining all local instructions and system databases
- Having functional authority over the LHG and supplier staff member
- Making sure that the technical and logistical aspects of training activities are performed
- Reporting operational irregularities according to the operator's manuals
- Informing the Station Manager about process/product shortfalls

- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's or Master's preferred
- 2-3 years of work experience, with at least 1 year in ground operations
- Leadership experience required
- English required, German desirable
- Knowledge of LHG operator specifics, airport procedures, and other airlines
- Proficient in MS Office and PC software
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicts, and maintain quality
- Customer-oriented, flexible, and proactive with strong interpersonal skills
- Professional, responsible, reliable, and a team player
- Willingness to travel and possess a valid driver's license
- Experience of working at supervisory level in an operational area within the airport/airline industry
- Must be able to obtain and retain a full airside pass including a satisfactory criminal record check
- Must be able to demonstrate the right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship or restriction
