Full Job Description
- Booking in vehicles e.g. mileage etc
- Taking photos of vehicles and uploading on IT systems.
- Handing over vehicles and speaking to customers.
- Undertake appraisal of vehicles in line with customer requirements and enter information onto the Company system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure that non-runners are notified to the appropriate manager.
- Administer vehicle details at the gatehouse according to company or customer procedures.
- Working out in the yard keeping the area clean and tidy.
- Shunting vehicles in the yard to the correct bays.
- Jump starting vehicles if required.
- Undertake any cross-functional tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met. Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00pm - 5.00pm, OTE available when required.
- Previous experience working as a yard operative would be an advantage
- FLT License desirable
- Driver's licence is essential
- IT literate
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work with initiative as well as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
